The guided tour begins with a historical explanation of this former cloister classified as a Historic Monument, an architectural masterpiece renovated in 2019 which marries the old and the modern.
It continues in part of the 3 km of underground galleries 20m underground in which the sparkling wines of the Cordeliers are produced, the history of the quarries and the production method are detailed there.
It ends with a tasting of vintage cuvées accompanied by one of the famous Saint Emilion macaroons, in the mezzanine of the 15th century church.
Walking tour lasting about 40 minutes, possibility of taking a lift for people with reduced mobility.
Tasting for about 20 minutes of 3 Sparkling wine : white, Rosé and white made with black grappes accompanied by a traditional Saint Emilion macaroon.
A syrup will be offered for children.
